Abra Auto Body Repair of America - Skokie

I was very satisfied with Abra Auto. They went out of their way to accomodate me and I appreciated how they treated me with utmost respect and care. Abra Auto (Woodridge) have exceptional people working at that location and Chris Bolt from Abra Auto (Skokie) did a great job on my car. Overall, I was completely satisfied.

I was very impressed with how quickly I was able to drop off my car and get a rental car. The people at Abra were very curteous and helpful.

As promised, the work was done very well and consistent updates were provided every step of the way. Thank you for your attention to detail and even catching that I left my school parking pass in the rental car!

The speaker in driver side door where accident and repairs happened is not functioning correctly. The inside of the truck still has body shop dust on the interior seat middle and back. The dust is also on the console, cup holder, under radio and etc. The door looks good however the mention should have been completed prior to delivery.

First, I was told by the Geico representative that the insurance for the rental car would be covered as long as I faxed over the insurance information from the company that I use (State Farm). Then, when I came to ABRA to pick up the rental car, I was told that the insurance would not be covered and that I would have to pay 16 a day for coverage. This made no sense since I was not at fault for the accident, so why should I have to pay for the repair or the inconvience that this has caused me. Then, today I was called at 5pm and that my car would be done "sometime tomorrow afternoon," and that I would have to pick it up immediately. I work in the city until 6pm, which is when the store closes, and have no way of getting there before closing. The man that called said that I would have to pick it up when it's ready tomorrow and that Geico is very "strict" about getting everything handled quickly. Once again, why am I being inconvience for this? I was never told a specific time that my car would be done, so you just expect me to magically rearrange my schedule to drop off a car? Come on now. Even in the brochure that was handed to me, it says that I have 24 hours to drop off/pick up my car, so I don't understand why I was getting hassled about this.

I was very pleased that I was kept updated by phone every day or two during the repair process. I also found that when I left a message for Geico representatives, I received a timely response.

The people in ABRA have a good customer service and are very friendly. The car was perfectly repaired.
