When we purchased our car, we had a horrendous experience with David Maus. The type of experience that makes a customer never want to return to purchase another product. The Prius we ended up with is an absolute dream come true. The engineering that went into it...we've never owned anything quite like this piece of machinery. When we took it for its first oil change, we found a Toyota dealership close to our geographic location (at the time) to have the work done. Oil change. 22point inspection. Car wash. That was my request, and what I received was a car that a mechanic drove into a tool box. Maybe there was an oil change. The car's inspection paperwork was hand drawn (the first set of paperwork we received from Oxmoor Toyota in Louisville wasn't even for our Toyota). No car wash was performed. We fought to get this specific car. David Maus didn't even know this car was on their lot and we sat through a wild goose chase which spanned 3 days and cost over 8 hours of our time at David Maus to acquire. When we left after the purchase we said that we'd NEVER AGAIN go back to David Maus based on the sales experience we received. And here I am. I know it wasn't the mechanics at David Maus who operated my vehicle face-first (intentions aside) into a giant, red Snap-On toolbox. But it is an Obligation for David Maus (because they carry the Toyota brand name) to FULLY TAKE CARE OF ME, AS THE CUSTOMER. I didn't have the vehicle brought to Daytona Toyota for repairs. I didn't have it repaired at Phillips Toyota, or Central Florida Toyota or Miracle Toyota or Mike Erdman Toyota, I went to David Maus with the hope that I would actually receive quality customer service. I literally crossed my fingers hoping that my experience with the collision center would be considerably smoother than my experience with the sales team. For the most part it was. Until the automated message I received on Friday told me to get the car on Monday at 6:00pm. Monday's message said that IF there was a hiccup in the completion time for my vehicle, I would be notified via phone. I was not notified, and my wife went to pick up the vehicle....she was told that NOBODY follows the automated system and customers are advised against it (I wasn't notified). The car wasn't ready. She cried on the phone to me because her **** Monday became even shittier due to a judgement lapse at David Maus. All she really. Wanted to to get her car back. In our eyes, Toyota royally screwed up the delivery of the vehicle to begin with. On the first oil change, Toyota drove it into a toolbox. Toyota attempted to make amends with the repair, and then SURPRISE! Toyota isn't finished yet, so drive back to wherever you call home and we'll try this again tomorrow... Customer. Service. Within the next year I'll be needing a vehicle to replace my Chevy truck. As much as I love the engineering and craftsmanship that went into the production of the Prius, I'm absolutely 110% unimpressed with the customer service I've received from Toyota. Please, I implore you. Please be more cognizant of your brand and the Toyota name. If the automated system really isn't to be thought of as anything more than a guideline...then PLEASE advise your customers of that fact, and recommend they switch it off until ****) you find a suitable replacement or 2) your employees figure out how to use it properly. Now I realize it seems a bit trivial, but remember...my trust in the Toyota brand has been severely damaged. The repair work is impeccable. I'm impressed with the attention to detail that went into my new front bumper. On paper, the collision center has done its job. I'm not impressed with the communication. I'm leaving this experience hoping that communication, customer service, and the quality of <<your quality>> (in the Toyota brand) is dramatically improved upon. ~Dr. Christopher M. Via

Melissa was phenomenal. She would call and send texts to keep me updated with the status of my car. She was very friendly when I arrived to pickup my car. She went over everything that was done on my car, took car of returning my rental, and got me back on the road. But the best part...having my car back 11 days sooner than the date I was originally told. Your entire staff is amazing and deserves kudos for their hard work and effort. They took a horrible situation and made it easy for me to get back to normal life.

I am amazed at how the the collision left My vehicle front end push in but the hard work and dedication of the collision team left My car looking brand new again..In addition the service advisor Mike was very on top of communication with me regarding repair..I am grateful and satistfed. Thank you

Toyotas are built to last forever. In my case my 2004 Toyota Sequoia, which I purchased from David Maus back in the day, has very low miles and looks almost factory new today. The problem is finding parts for a 13 year old vehicle, when most of the beasts are still on the road. Melissa told me up front that it could go 3 weeks to get all the parts from your network of parts suppliers. And today we are still waiting for a running board to finish the repair..it's just a bolt on job. So, if you are asking me I f your collision center is the best..Answer is yes. Did they pamper my 2004 Sequoia to make it new again..Answer Yes. Do I recommend your services to others?? Answer is yes. Do I want to be on another accident...No. Great job to the shop mechanics and painters , etc...A job well done...???? And give Melissa a day off. She needs some pampering too!!

I was extremely frustrated in the beginning as I was not getting any communication and not hearing back after several call attempts. Eventually, we found out that the insurance company had given my number incorrectly. Once that was fixed, everything was great moving forward from there!
