This one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had. I had gone to the Abra in Longmont, and they were FANTASTIC! Literally the nicest people I've come across, and they earned my business hands down. They had said that they could fix my car themselves and get it back to me the 2nd or 3rd week in Feb, but if they outsourced it to CO Springs, it could get done sooner since they weren't as busy (we just had a big storm in Boulder resulting in lots of accidents). Assuming all Abras were the same, I obviously chose to get my car back quicker, since I'm sharing one with my husband and it's extremely inconvenient, as you can imagine.
So, my car unfortunately gets sent to the Abra in Colorado Springs where they take 3 weeks longer than Longmont had quoted me to get my car back. When my car WAS finally returned to the Longmont location, they had to take an extra 2.5 days to have a mechanic do more work on it because it wasn’t done being fixed!
Monique was a customer service nightmare! Zero accountability and very unprofessional on the phone. Had an excuse every single time she talked to me, couldn’t give me anything close to an estimate on time, forcing me to push back work trips. I finally got me a free rental, but she sent me the phone number for one location and the address for another so My boss ended up having to drive me all the way back in 5 o’clock traffic to where we had just come from, and when I finally got there, the only vehicle Enterprise had for me was a minivan (a dodge gran caravan to be exact) which cost a lot to fill with gas and was such a pain to get around in.
Thank god for Misty taking over my vehicle repair. She was so attentive and so apologetic and actually helped move my repair through quicker. Thank you, Misty.
I can already tell my alignment is off and I’ve had my car back for approximately 12 hours. I have no idea what else could be wrong, but I pray it’s nothing. I can’t imagine dedicating even more time to this accident, even though, yes, I will be yet again driving to Longmont, to get this checked out. I sincerely wish I hadn’t paid you the $500 deductible. You don’t deserve it. I almost wish I had totaled my car... now that probably would have been worth $500. At least then I would have confidence that the car I was driving was actually functional and not going to cause me mental anguish or physical harm.
I would probably use Abra in Longmont again (if the places in Erie were booked) but I would sincerely discourage you from sending anymore load lifting cars down there. They are really giving Abra a bad name.
Thank you to all who did actually assist me. It’s nice to be back in my car (maybe) after 6+ weeks of shenanigans.
