I have to say that I originally booked with Abra because they are supposed to be the best in body work. My family and I have used them before, at least twice on my previous vehicle. The staff is very friendly and helped make the process relatively easy. Dawn was great to work with and kept us informed of the status of my vehicle. At first, the car seemed fine- it had a few places on the hood where the paint dimpled, but I accepted that as a normal part of the repair process. However, once getting home I realized that the left fender that was repainted already has a ding on it. Maybe they did not paint all the way down, but a newly painted fender shouldn't have a ding on it. I got over that, but upon further glance I realized there is a circular mark on the side of the hood repainted where it looks as if something was set on it. This is a relatively minor thing you cannot see if not in bright light, but why should a day old paint job not be perfect? Then, I noticed that scratches were on the right fender of which they did not even work on that are more noticeable as well as new dings. I could get over the circular mark on the newly painted hood as a poor paint job, but new scratches on the right fender that they did not even work with are inexcusable. I am happy to have my original problem fixed, but I came out with more scratches/dings than I had before coming in and a sub-par paint job on the hood. Needless to say, I will not be using Abra again, and I will complete online reviews regarding my experience. My family is in the car business with both General Motors itself and Southetowne, so needless to say, we are disappointed and will not be recommending Abra.
