Abra Auto Body Repair of America - Mt. Moriah

I dropped my car off to have the driver side repaired. 2 weeks later I pick up the car and my passenger side door does not open and a piece of it is missing. I took it back and spoke to person I had been working with throughout the repair process. He acted as though this was not abra's fault and that he would see if insurance would pay for the repair! I WAS ABLE TO GET OUT OF THE CAR WHEN I LEFT IT WITH ABRA. When I picked it up, a piece is missing and you can't get out of the car. It seems obvious that this happened while in your care but I was treated as though he "will have to get back with me" And "talk to my manager". Are you kidding me? This is not acceptable in any way at all. I called the moment I discovered the problem and went immediately back to the shop. There was a whole lot of shoulder shrugging and saying that they didn't do any work on the passenger side. And yet there is a piece of the inside door handle missing. I am not a happy customer at all!

Upon bringing my car in for repair on Wednesday, 5/8/13, the Abra representative assigned to my case stated she would contact me the next day and throughout the process to keep me informed of their progress, and specifically to discuss the estimate for repairs. After not hearing from her by Friday, 5/10/13, I called and was assisted by a receptionist who also emailed me the estimate (representative did not work that day). I was unable to discuss my concerns about Abra's plans to repair my bumper instead of replacing it, which was not what I expected. My assigned representative did not attempt to contact me until Tuesday, 5/14/13, at which time the message was that my car was ready for pick up. I am very disappointed in the customer service provided during my car's repair. There was little regard for communication as promised and expected by a customer.

It was very encouraging to meet professional yet kind people. I was made aware of the warranty and that was encouraging as well. The white girl (pretty)and Greg are truly an asset to Geico. I don't remember her name but she had cowgirl boots on that first day that I came to get it fixed. Also it was it was raining very hard the day that I brought it over and she assisted me in getting my things out of the car. Wow ! Golden!
