Being a retired manufacturing Engineer/Estimating analyst. I am always interested in all the elements that go into a project. I would have liked more updates on the specific elements found after job started and what revisions the insurance agreed to pay for. Was there any under-body straightening required? Door pillar damage etc. The work scope is the biggest factor in a project. When I estimated the C17 the biggest factor was capturing all the revisions the Air force required. That was about 30% of the total aircraft cost. Whereas the variance on parts, materials and labor was very small between sub- contractors. Your work was excellent, Estimate was best of all 4 in capturing the full scope of damage. As someone who started as an apprentice on shop floor I appreciate good craftsmanship. then as I progressed to Principal Specialist Estimating Analyst at Boeing I got to appreciate all aspects of good work in all departments in engineering, planning and management functions. I thank you for a good job. I am now ready to have camera's fitted to cover blind spots at sides of vehicle to supplement the Subaru Eyesight system and zTronix zBlackBox 2000HD dash cam DVR which was able to prove who was at fault on play back. The Goshers BSDS-003016P warning system gets installed in a few days so my Subaru will be one of the safest cars available in collision avoidance. But there are always idiots on the road that will keep your company busy in future years. Thanks to your company and Farmers/Mid Century insurance for a job well done. Bryan M. Long.
