Generally, the service was solid, but my wife and I are now finding glue or adhesive marks on the car, as well as white residue, and even some missing or chipped paint, and on the side of the car which was not damaged. We would like to work with you to resolve these minor issues.

This is the second time we have had our car repaired by service king. We received excellent service this time around from Tarek. He was prompt in getting back to us with our estimate, and always kept us apprised of the progress on the car. Also, it looked fantastic when finished. Top-notch service, we will be back!

Anthony Fountas, Good to hear from you Anthony, I appreciate you reaching out. Unfortunately I am at work from 6am and don't get home until after 6pm so a phone call will be difficult. However, I can provide you with some feedback prior to completing the survey. Feedback I took the car to Service King in Lombard, Bob Carter's Body Shop, Loro Auto Body, and a few more that were rated high on Angie's List. Each location provided an estimate with Bob Carter being the lowest. Since Bob Carter was the lowest I was going with them and I called the claims adjuster to proceed with this process since Bob is outside of Allstate insurance. All estimates provided was for brand new parts. While getting the estimate from the claims adjuster I spoke to Birdy and asked about touch up work behind the bumper (surface rust, easily sanded off and painted). Since I thought this would be taken care of I took the vehicle to Service King Lombard. I picked up my car last Saturday. It would have been done on Wednesday but there was a part that was ordered wrong for the bumper. Picking up my car I found a clip missing on the passenger side rear bumper. This was fixed by Birdy but no one inspected the quality, if they did this was missed. Then I found that the tailpipe was repaired and not replaced. But the repair was not perfect and still showed a dent on the tailpipe. The touch up was not done because as I am told there was no way to get the insurance to pay for this (major reason why I brought the car here). Everything else was fine and satisfactory. But very disappointed with the tailpipe not being replaced, the clip that was later replaced, and the touch up. The tailpipe as it was explained to me was originally estimated to be replaced but when the insurance adjuster did his paperwork, he said replace it. What should have happened was someone at Service King take notice of the bad repair job on it and reached out to the insurance that it needed to be replaced with a new one. That didn't happen. So in summarizing, will I provide good feedback, refer the shop, provide good online feedback, and respond positively to the survey? No. I am sure in my shoes you would feel the same. Hope this helps you in any way.
