I now have a small dent in my driver's door that wasn't there when I left the vehicle. The estimator claimed it was there already, and in effect implied that I was lying, and argued with me, stating that the dent was there months ago when we brought it in for another minor repair. This was not the case. If the owner, Kevin **** had not been at the shop yesterday and got involved in the dispute, I would have been forced to accept the conclusion of this employee who states the dent was indeed already there. Ultimately, Kevin **** reviewed the pre service photos and determined that I was telling the truth and will be repairing the door at a later date. I don't understand why this employee would have fabricated events- even stating that the service time before this one, he "put touch up paint on it for me"! When I told my husband about this, I didn't have to tell him where the new dent was. He walked outside and came back in before even approaching the vehicle and said he saw it from the sidewalk on the driver's side door. I am left with mixed feelings about this business since this man has worked for them for many years. It was very awkward.
