The time for repair was longer than initially told. More damage was found after the process was started, then parts were ordered and not stocked by Honda. Overall the repair looks excellent, though I just picked it up today.

While Tamera handled well on the day I brought my car in, my appointment that I made on the day of my estimate was not on the books. If I had not called to verify my appointment, then I would not have had a rental car (which was late in arriving anyway). My original return date for my care was 3/21, which was extended - day by day - until 4/5. Furthermore, on 4/5, I called Kniesel's to see when my car would be available for pick up. I was told between 5:00 and 5:30. I called again at 4:50 to ask if it was ready and if I should come by, and I was told yes, that everything was good to go. I arrived at the shop around 5:05, and the car was not ready. I waited until 5:25, even though when I called over a half hour before, I was told it was ready to be picked up. When checking the car, I asked about the polishing of the headlight covers, as they looked similar to when I dropped it off. I was told that it was "the best they could do," which seemed like a fairly inadequate explanation. Lastly, I was disappointed with the interior of my car. The back of my drivers seat was full of smudged in dust and dirt. I notified Ana, the front desk clerk of this, and she asked if I wanted it cleaned. I declined, seeing as I'd waited 30 minutes already. When driving away, I noticed the the front dash board and most surfaces in the front of the car (door handles, center console) were covered in this dust as well. Overall, a not so wonderful experience.

Unfortunately, the estimated damage to my Jeep was beyond the repair threshold and my vehicle was deemed a total loss. Although the outcome wasn't positive, my experience with Kniesel's definitely was. Desiree was very helpful in the estimate process and went above and beyond to provide information as soon as it was received to both myself and the insurance company. Exactly who I would hope to work in any customer service situation. Thank you for taking the sting out of the insurance claim process.
