I was continuously told the car would be ready aon the 22nd. We were on our way to Austin on the 18th when I saw a message from SK that the car was ready. I called Pablo to inform if i could pick up on early Monday AM but he said that USAA would not pay to have the rental car over the weekend. Wr had to interupt our plans to pick ip Honda when I planned to pick up on the 22nd as originally told by SK. We were late getting tp Austin. We appreciate the Honda being ready early but there was no coordination for us to change our plans. We had less than an hour to get to SK before Pablo left for tor day on Fri.and change all the contents from rental to Honda. I felt very rushed and was never told by USAA or SK that we would be responsible for paying weekend use of the rental. POOR coordination and communication. The price to paint car was high and should not require complete removal of the rear bumper to paint small area of bumper. That area looks bad!! Thank you.

Ignition key was broken. We had to buy a new one @ $69.28. Also the bumper cover which contain the lower turning lights does not operate. In addition, the driver door handle and interior leather is stained. It appears to have been handled with greasy hands. The broken ignition key was replaceed at owner expense for out of pocket cost of $69.28. We have asked USAA for reimbursement of key cost. I have a lot of feedback... I will try to keep it brief. We have used Service King before and been satisfied with the work and the timeliness of the repair. This was a different experience entirely. Our 2014 Honda Odyssey was stolen and then wrecked. After 12 days in shop, parts had not even been ordered on what I was told was a 10 day fix. There were other issues during the repair concerning our communication that I could expound on if desired, but more importantly, the quality of the work is shoddy. After 34 days in shop @ Service King, I am going to have to call and return my vehicle because the horn doesn't work (a major safety issue that almost contributed to a wreck on the way home as some one tried to merge into my lane and I could not honk to alert them. My vehicle would not pass a safety inspection as is). The steering wheel has a gap I can fit my fingers through. The piece that was ordered was either wrong or the mechanic did not know how to fit it. Additionally, there are several places on my van that the paint is entirely scratched off- right to the metal and that was not addressed. I actually chose Service King because of a positive prior experience. At this point, not only will I never use Service King again, I will steer those I know away from it as well. The service that I received and the repair to my vehicle were not what I had come to expect from your company. I had previously had a high opinion of your shop. Hopefully these things will be made right when I call in the morning.
