The text update feature in my case was not very good. I was told by Mike (over the phone) on Tuesday at the shop that my car was being worked on that day, but the first text update I ever received wasn't until Wednesday, and all it told me in the text message was that my car was "happy it was at the shop." Nothing about it actually being worked on or anything.
