Technical aspects of the job were just fine. Only issue I have is in the delay with getting the job done. Defects in the replacement part caused at least one day in job completion, ... with the necessity of my having to rent a car for one day, adding to my expense. Entire job too from Monday till Saturday, which seems a bit excessive. Staff at ABR were very good in keeping me informed of the delays and eventual progress. Seems to me that it would have been more efficient for me to wait until the replacement part was as the repair shop before I brought my car in for the work, which would have saved two whole days. We only have one car in my family, so this left us a bit inconvenienced for 5.5 days. The workmanship was superb!!

The work was done well and within the estimated time frame. It was very easy to deal with your company, as you are a preferred provider with my insurance, and are located close to my home. Working with Ben was wonderful; he answered all of my questions well throughout the repair process. My only complaints are #****) your email "update" system. you addressed every email to my husband, even though I filled out all the paperwork and am also a State Farm policy holder, and each email only said something like, "Don't worry, we're still working on your car!" They didn't say anything of substance. I'd rather not receive anything, than a generic email. #2) I always had to call to get an update on the progress of my repair; I never received a call from you. You have a bunch of folks working there, and it would be great to hear from you every few days during the process. Thanks.

Please don't send those cheesey and disruptive texts. I didn't get the email telling me about them (and how to stop them) until the day before my car was ready and I had received 3 or 4. Got the "last mile is the hardest" text TEN days before my car was ready. I get that you are trying to provide good customer service, but all the friendly texts,emails and calls come off as not genuine and annoying. I just wanted to know when I was getting my car back.

Since the repairs were made, I have noticed unfamiliar engine noises when starting in the morning and other unknown metal-sounding noises coming from the repair area. Although the appearance is nice, these new grinding and clinking sounds are very undesirable. I will be scheduling a follow-up appointment next week since there is a warranty.

The repair is great. Ray was great . I understand that delays happen. What was frustrating was receiving all the texts saying everything was right on track, only to get a phone call the same day as my scheduled pick up (more than once) saying it wasn't ready. My days, like yours, are tightly scheduled. It's all about expectation. If you let me know the day before that it might not be ready, I can adjust and plan. Then I could just be happy if it was on time. Instead, I wound up being disappointed. It's all in the communication.

It was great and my car looks good, but there was a lot of confusion about when my car was actually going to be finished, it kept being pushed back. And then when it finally was finished, the shop got frustrated with ME because I couldn't drop everything I was doing to go pick up my car right then and there, because I thought I was supposed to pick up my car the day before. So they did a good job, but they shouldn't get frustrated with me, I'm the customer.
