Glidden Auto Body Inc.

I was in an accident with my car, and after reading customer reviews I decided to do business with Glidden auto body. Glidden did a poor job fixing my car. They also did not complete all of the work that was supposed to be done, in the quoted price. They also left a bright neon green dent/scratch in the passenger side rear door. They did not "buff" the car as indicated by the insurance claim sheet. The protective coating on my car (passenger side mirror) looks like it was hand cut, with several jagged edges (unlike the rest of the coating on the car). That same mirror will not respond to the control that moves it up and down. Once approached with these issues, I was not even offered an apology. Thanks for vacuuming my car, and removing the dirt... I would prefer dirt over greasy fingerprints left in it's place. As of right now I still owe them for the work done, and I will not pay the full amount for the issues described above. Not all of the work was done properly, and things that were done were finished improperly. Now I have a new dent/scratch that I need to have fixed as well. I propose I get a quote from third party to fix the issues that still exist, and have that amount removed from the due balance. Rather than respond to my request, I was "served" with papers for the remaining balance. I've filed with the BBB. My suggestion to any and all is to STAY AWAY from these shady people and their shady business practices. ********update***** It's been 2 weeks since I filed with the BBB. Glidden is acting just as I guessed they would. They're defensive and not professional in any way. They will not agree to my suggestion of a 3rd party looking at my car. I will not take it to a business that I don't trust, and feel uncomfortable with. Save your time/money, and avoid a headache, find a different auto body place.
