The entire staff was courteous and attentive to my needs. They made sure that I understood everything that was going to be done to the car and advised me that they would periodically up-date me on the progress, which they did. Before I arrived home from picking up my car, there was a large amount of steam coming out from under the hood of the car. I immediately called Abra and was told I could bring the car back. My husband evaluated the car, filled the empty radiator and windshield washer reservoirs, and talked with our normal mechanic. We determined the steam was more from a poor clean up in the engine than a leak. The next day (in the daylight) we found the moulding to the drivers rear door was no longer attached. We returned to Abra and was told that it was already damaged prior to the repairs. That is simply not true. There is no mention of this on the intake form, I'm sure. It's an obvious fault in the moulding. We've never had an accident or repairs done on this part of the car before. Abra's Manager told us we would be responsible to repair this new damage. There was no damage to this door during the accident, but we believe the part was removed to allow for overspray and blending. The Abra estimator confirmed the clips in the moulding were broken, and no attempts were made to repair them. We were also not informed of the new damage during pick up / inspection of the vehicle. This was done in the dark, and the engine was never even looked at during pick up. After a 6000 job, I would think a 78 part would be a minimal cost to endure customer satisfaction.
