We were originally told it would take 4 or 5 work days. It took 7 work days. It was kind of inconvenient being without a car for that long. I kind of thought we were put on the back burner.

I am waiting to hear back from the collision center regarding my van. It appears there is a section that wasn't repaired and my key was bent when I locked up my car.

Riley's may not be as familiar with USAA's method of handling claims as they are with State Farm, Am Fam, or other agencies. The waiver of deductible and related information was already in the USAA documentation but the staff didn't seem to have accessed much of it. Ditto for the hint that I may need to contact the other insurance company to give a statement when I had already given USAA, my company, a statement in full. Regardless, these obstacles were overcome and I am well pleased with the work done on my car. I hope to never have another accident, nor be involved in an accident, but I will ask for Riley's first if such does occur.
