I feel like the original sales representative who gave me an estimate misrepresented how certain repairs are performed. I understand that this may have been an innocent mistake, but it has resulted in me having less control over the repair process than I feel I should.
I have a professionally installed clear bra on the area that was repaired, and the company that installed it, Oasis Tinting, told me to tell your representative that I wanted them to come complete the repair. When I told my sales rep this, he told me that you would not be able to have Oasis complete these repairs, because Classic does all these repairs in-house. This left me with the impression that I had no choice over who would be completing this stage of the repair, despite it being a specialty repair.
When I picked up my car, I noticed that the clear bra repair was listed as “sublet,” and when I asked about this, the gentleman who helped me explained that Classic subcontracts out to specialty shops for these types of repairs. He even told me that Classic sometimes works with the company that originally installed my bra, but that there was nothing that could be done, because another company had already been paid for the service (that I have to come back for in a month).
The gentleman who helped me was apologetic, but he did not seem especially interested in rectifying the situation or volunteering ways that Classic could make this situation better. In fact, he confirmed my fear that different products fade differently, but it was up to me to demand that Classic make sure the vendor you chose was using the same materials as the rest of my bra. He seemed more interested in helping me come to terms with the fact that there is nothing you can do to make me a happier customer. He then asked me to leave a 10 Star review for Classic’s repairs (the repairs WERE awesome), which felt a bit tone deaf.
I would like to see (a) better sales rep education on Classic’s services; (b) greater customer control over third party repairs; and (c) more focus on satisfaction than ratings.
If your customer service was as good as your repair work, Classic would be a 10 Star company in my book.

Great repair job by you guys at Classic Collision, timely updates and fair pricing. I have multiple gripes with the Subaru dealership that the car was taken to. I have no idea why Subaru said to take the transmission out when the repair job has been done before without removing transmission. First and foremost did not reconnect everything that was needed to be taken apart to take the transmission out. My E85 flex fuel module was not reconnected and the car did not run well under acceleration. Had I noticed that my Ethanol sensor read 0, resulting in the inability of the car to sense how much ethanol is present and adjust the tune accordingly could have seriously damaged my engine. Secondly they did not even bother reinstalling my coolant reservoir bracket so the reservoir is just sitting atop my fuel lines.

A few years ago, my first experience at classic collision wasn’t that great. I was informed that my car was ready to be picked up. but when I got there, I had to wait almost an hour to get my car and that staff weren’t that friendly. After a few years, I thought I give classic another try.
My second experience at classic was outstanding. Someone helped me within 5 mins and looked at my car with me where the repair was done. My back bumper was repaired and the paint job was excellent but there was a gap between the tail light and the bumper. They adjusted the bumper within 10 mins but there was still a slight gap but it was better than before. Lazer ( I don’t know if I spelled his name correctly ) told me whenever I have time to bring it back in so they can adjust the bumper again to my satisfaction since I was rushing to go to work. Lazer was professional, friendly, and understood my concerns. My car was not only washed but vacuumed too which was awesome. This experience has changed how I felt about classic and I will definitely be coming back.
