Hello, thanks for repairing my Mercedes-Benz car. I would like to discuss with you about the following issues:
(i) It seems to me that during repairing my car (based on the claim number: 0xxx-****-xxxx01061), the mechanic opened the odometer or mileage reader and other digital reader port or frame. In this part of the dashboard that was not put together perfectly. I do not understand why the mechanic had to open this frame. So I have to show you the improper installation of this frame.
(ii) Though printing work was done nicely, but new LKQ RT Headlamp assy is looking weird or odd when compare with right one with left. By sending an email to Mr. Tommy Kilgore, before repairing it, it requested him to use the compatible or similar in color/part of LKQ RT Headlamp assy. I have to discuss about it.

Wiring harness left hanging out of the back side quarter panel. Rattling sound from somewhere under the truck that was not there before and I was told the rattle was a heat shield and would not be covered so I took the loss and traded the truck in for another truck because I could not miss anymore work. Completely dissatisfied.

I sent my vehicle to TriState to have it repaired as it was referred to my by my carrier. While in looking at the overall repairs it looks to be done well, the service I received was less than satisfactory.
My vehicle was towed there on 7/19/16 and I had not received a follow up call on my car by 7/21/16 to review any supplemental damages. When I called I was informed they didn't even know my vehicle was there. Followed by where is the estimate at, well it was in the front seat of the car on the passenger side. To my knowledge this seems to be a normal and logical place that most adjusters place their estimates and the body shop will pick it up from there. After all it was sitting right in the seat of the car, but you would have to know it was there and look in or at it to know such.
After 21 days of repairs (4 of which no work was done) the vehicle was finally repaired. I arrived to pick up my vehicle and found it under a tree, littered with catapillars, ants, spiders, etc. The inside of the car was dusty and the TPMS light was on (an issue that was not there before the accident). Well, it was sitting there waiting on me to pick it up damage free, but what a less than stellar way to pick up my car that I have missed for 3 weeks. Interestingly enough the email update that said my car was ready to come, really wasn't ready to come home. The repairs were just over. The gentleman did offer to wash it off right away, but I had to get to the office and start my work day. In addition my insurance company is now willing to cover getting my car detailed, but I wasn’t advised by the shop it that is okay to do with the paint work that was recently done. Typically you have to wait a certain number of days prior to a mechanical washing with recent paint work. But hey, I’m not sure how long that would be because no one told me. I got a blue folder, waited for my adviser, walked around “A Bugs Life” vehicle and had to actually get on with my day because I can’t wait all day for service that should have happened before you even called me. I didn't build in time or anticipate that I needed to wait around some more to actually have a repaired and cleaned car. I called the same day to advise the TPMS light was on and that I wanted it looked at, the reception area advised they would tell the service handler and he would contact me same day, well that didn't happen. I called back the next day and finally got a call back. Lucky me, I get to go take some more time to get the finishing touches done on my vehicle. Sensors repaired, air in my tires, and may be even a real wash and no insects or tree sap in tow.
Being an insurance professional myself with over 6 years in the business, I truly am disappointed that this is the service that customers may receive after we contract work out to a shop that should be a representation of that carrier. Customers look for not only the car to be fixed, but returned to them in a condition that shows that you respect and value that vehicle as much as they do. Thank you for letting me know that you respect and value your customers and the contractual agreement you have with my carrier to ensure that their customers are taken care of during their recent loss.

When I dropped my car off & dealt with the adjuster & Enterprise agent, I think I was out of there with my rental in 15 or 20 minutes.
