I own a 2014 Silverado 1500 and was rear ended on the highway. Bent hitch, bumper, tailgate and rear fender of bed, also damaged bed cover to gain access to tools since I could not open tailgate. Dropped truck off 3 days later to Fosters. During the process of almost 5 weeks I could NEVER get any estimated time for when truck would be complete. Right at 5 weeks they call and say truck is ready. When I arrive there is no one at the shop the whole day that would be able to go over repairs, I did so on my own and find that my hitch was not replaced, once metal has been bent it no longer has it's original strength. I pull heavy trailers daily, not to mention that there was a busted weld on the hitch they did not even attempt to do anything about. You want to be driving next to me when my hitch fails and the trailer comes free on the highway? My bed cover is an aluminium tri-fold. There was no attempt to repair gouges and scratches on the cover. They now have to schedule insurance company to come back and look at vehicle to approve the repairs that should have been done originally. Needless to say insurance company is 5 more days out from inspection then order and replace parts....another 2 weeks at minimum. 7 to 8 weeks for a **** week job. These guys can't fix whats under their nose in the open...think about under your hood????
