FOREWARNING: I first brought my vehicle to MJ Auto Body at the recommendation from MK Detail which is the same general location back on 10/05/15. Undecided if I was going to paint the entire vehicle or the damage to the side panels, I informed Gloria, (Operations Manager), that I would be calling her shortly. Within a couple of days thereafter, I left a message on their general voicemail indicating that I would be only wanted the side panels repaired and waited for a callback. A week later, approximately 10/14/15, I received a call from Gloria wanting to know the status of my decision moving forward. I told Gloria that I left her a massage back on 10/07/15 indicating that I only wanted the side panels repaired. She replied, "I'm sorry, we had a lot of message and I may have missed it." So my vehicle sat there for a week without being worked on. Although I was upset, I agreed on 1600.00 for the work and Gloria apologized for the delay. Fast forward to 11/4/15. I picked up my vehicle on a rainy and cloudly day. I could not see the vehicle in detail until the weather cleared up. Furious! Upon seeing the extremely poor work and filthy cleanup, (or lack of), completed on my black Ford Flex. And if that wasn't enough, the bumpers were removed and painted a much deeper and darker color!! I've included photos of additional damage to my vehicle in which Gloria and MJ Auto Body will not take responsibility for (ie. excessive swirl damage, DA orbital scratches, unfinished door jamb and a door that no longer has an operational door switch!). They denied painting my vehicle's bumpers and stated that they must have been painted elsewhere. I simply could not believe what they were telling me. Gloria asked I bring my vehicle back to their shop for repair of the rear quarter panel in which the clearcoat began peeling (see photos attached). I told her I was refusing to do so because they had the opportunity to fix it right the first time, and that I would lose more time by driving to their shop ****.5 hours away. After back-and-forth text message replies, Mike from MK Detail called me in attempts to rectify the issue; he too acknowledge that the bumpers were also painted and gave me a reasonable explanation. A change in personnel, (repairman), was made which explains the painting that Gloria completely refused to acknowledge. Definately a communication breakdown at their shop. And I'm paying for their lack of skillful employees. Shame on MJ Auto Body! I would NOT recommend you do business with this shop.
