Body Works By Murray Motors

I cannot rate this company low enough. One star is way too many. It has been 37 days, and I have not seen my car. I miss it and wonder if I will ever see it again. Do you think that it misses me? I was originally scheduled to have my Volt repaired at a Chevrolet dealership. The day before I was scheduled to bring it in, I got a telephone call that they had closed the body shop because Murray Motor had bought out the dealership and was sending the work to Bodyworks. Having waited for the appointment, I made the mistake of not going elsewhere. The damage to the car was light with an estimated $****,600 repair cost. I delivered my car on Monday, April 6, 2015. The person I was working (Todd) didn't follow up, so I started calling him. I left multiple messages, without any response. Finally, I called the main number to learn that Todd had quit or been fired and now Brittany was handling my repair. I have received occasional updates, mostly after I have called Brittany. Their automated system has sent misinformation about the status of the repair. Yesterday, I learned that my car was finally ready, but they would not release it until the other driver's insurance paid the bill. It is now May 12, 2015, 37 days, and I still don't have my car. You would think that they would know the repair is about done, the cost of the repair, and get approval from the insurance company before arriving at the end. I have not yet seen my car, but I will be surprised if they did a good job. So far, everything about this shop is lousy. The service stinks. The communication is dreadful. The repair cost 2x as much as originally estimated and took an inordinate amount of time. I just paid for over a month's lease for a car I was not able to use. This place ****.
