Higgins Body Shop

I'm very dissatisfied with the work that Mr. Higgins did for me recently. I found several large, noticeable drips in the paint finish, chips in the finish, a large (4" diam.) crack, areas that were not top-coated, buffing compound in recesses of the car. He charged apx. 30% more than his estimate. He was to paint half the car and top coat the entire car, and to replace the original hood and grill with parts that I provided. After he replaced the hood, the original hood lift no longer worked. I returned the car to him and gave him an opportunity to correct the problems with the car and he agreed. However, the problems remained when I picked up the car. He again agreed to correct the uncorrected problems, but asked me to call and schedule an appointment, because he had other work scheduled. I called and left a message on his answering machine that he failed to return. I'm very dissatisfied with the quality of his work, and that he fails to honor his agreements. I'd be happy to modify this negative rating if Mr. Higgins corrects his substandard work, as he agreed.
