Trachsel Body & Paint

On a Friday, I backed my son's pride and joy, a beautiful Nissan Titan crew cab, into a post - and really smashed the right-rear corner. I was devastated when I got out and saw the extent of the damage. I called Trachsel, and spoke with a very pleasant, helpful, young lady. I was not familiar with Trachsel, so I asked her a lot of questions. She patiently answered all of my questions, and described how experienced and quality oriented their repair personnel are. She invited me to bring the truck in for an estimate later that same day. When he came home, I broke the bad news about the damage to my son, and he accompanied me to Trachsel's Body Shop. We were both very impressed with everybody who helped us at Trachsel's. Greg prepared an estimate for our insurance company, and described the quality of the workmanship and materials we could expect. Among many other details, he told us that Trachsel's Body Shop exclusively uses only the highest quality BMW paints. Greg told us we could come back and leave the truck with them on Monday, which we did. On Monday morning, Justin, the Production Manager at Trachsel's, further reassured us that the repairs would be done to the highest standards and as quickly as possible. We then confided to Justin one other problem: My son needed to take the truck out of state in just one week. Justin listened attentively to our needs. He said he would ask the shop personnel to try to have the work completed within 5 days, by the end of the week. To my amazement, the work was completely finished 5 days later. On Friday, as my son and I were driving to Trachsel's to pick up his truck, I still felt apprehensive about whether the repairs would be noticeable. I tend to be a critical person, and not easily pleased, but I can honestly say that the truck looked like brand new. The closer I looked at the repaired area, the more impressed I was. Trachsel's had not only done awesome repairs, and perfect paint work, but they had also shined up the whole truck, front to back, right down to the tires! The friendly lady (I regret that I didn't ask her name) again put us at ease by thoroughly explaining the insurance process. She also explained every part of our bill in detail. I was happy to learn that the deductible amount was exactly as expected, with no side charges, and she assured me that they would work with my insurance company about the remainder. She and Greg made us feel like valued customers, and encouraged us to contact them if we had any other concerns. It was the perfect conclusion to our experience at Trachsel's. When we arrived home, we thoroughly inspected the whole area that was repaired (which included a whole new right-rear quarter panel), and we truly could not see any indication that the truck had ever been damaged. The painting and body work were absolutely beautiful.. None of these comments were solicited by anyone at Trachsel, and neither my son nor I are directly or indirectly associated with anyone at Trachsel's. We just wanted to share our EXCELLENT experience at Trachsel's Auto Body Shop in Salem, Oregon with the whole Google community. Needless to say, if we ever need the services of a top-quality body shop again, we will go directly to Trachsel's - and we suggest that you should do that too! Dustin and Harold Ford Salem, Oregon
