Do not patronize this business. I went to this shop to have my back brakes light repaired and the owner Gilbert tampered with my front brakes in order to pad the bill. In doing so, he made my car start smoking and it became difficult to accelerate. After he tampered with my car, the front brakes made a horrible grinding noise. He lied and said I would then have to leave the car for the weekend because it was too hot to even attempt to repair. When I returned the following Monday, he claimed my car was not ready for pick up and that he could not fix it. I demanded, at that point that he place my car on the street. He then drove my car out to the street and I then test drove it in front of his shop. The car was not "stuck" as he falsely claimed. H was just trying to rip me off for an additional 200 dollars or more. I only wanted the back brake light fixed and he put my life in danger by messing with my front brakes. What a liar he is and a thief he is! I could have been killed had I got on the expressway. He laughed and told me I was "lucky" because some ppl he had serviced did get on the thruway and he conceded "thats dangerous". So, obviously he knew what he was doing by endangering my life by tampering with my car. PLEASE HEED MY WARNING AND GO ELSEWHERE. I have also contacted a state agency. DO NOT PATRONIZE FINE LINES AUTOMOTIVE!
