The service was great except that I had two small dents on my driver's side door that were to be fixed and for which I paid. But I was in a hurry when I picked the car up Friday evening and assumed the tiny spot I glanced at on the door was a piece of cloth or fuzz from the drying they had just been doing after the wash. When I got the car into my garage at home I saw it was actually a small paint chip. I didn't want to go back for that so I touched it up with my touch up paint. I shouldn't have tried that because it didn't look right. So I called the next morning (Saturday) and I believe his name was Scott (your service manager) said bring it in, which I did. He took the car back into your garage and brought it back. We both saw at that time that it was actually dented, not just scratched. The garage personnel had sanded down my touch up job, but the dent was still there and it still needs touch up painting. I'm going to buy a new touch up paint bottle because I think the old one is getting too viscous. Scott told me anything could have caused the dent, for example, a stone hitting the door. Of course that is true, but nothing happened to it on the short drive home Friday, and the paint chip was there when I picked it up. Scott made me feel like I wasn't telling the truth. It's just a very small dent, and I wouldn't make anything of it except that it wasn't repaired as promised, and I was made to feel like I was trying to put one over one ABRA. Bill Cassel

Car looks great. I have a suggestion. When you give people the estimate, you should make it clear that the prices quoted for parts may not be the final price. AFTER my car was in your shop, I got a call saying that the price of one of the main parts had more than doubled. This turned out to be a mistake, wrong info given your employee by the parts supplier. But I was unhappily surprised to learn that the estimate one receives is not necessarily what the actual final price will be. Very different from other businesses, for instance, a home repair, where the business is bound by their estimate. Making this clear to customers would avoid misunderstandings. In a future transaction, I would not go forward until ALL costs were known and final.

Thank you so much. We consider our cars to be very important to us. This was our third time having Abra do work on one of our cars. Every time we have been very pleased with the quality of work you do. We were very happy that you called to notify us of a rust issue that you found during repairs so that it could also get fixed. We really appreciate that you fixed some spots in the paint that were unrelated to my accident, but that we wished could be fixed. Like I said before, we truly want to take good care of our cars so they will last a long time and be reliable. And you made our car look like nothing ever happened. And it is so nice to know that the rust you found will not become a problem in the future. We couldn't be more pleased. Thank you!

My BMW was delivered for a trunk scratch repair at 9AM, 7/22. It was to be completed within one overnight stay which was the equivalent of 2 days. The BMW was supposedly completed and ready for my inspection at 5PM 7/23. On my inspection the BMW was dirty and had some small additional scratches and scuff marks and there were distinct swirl marks on the dirty hood. I was mortified by the BMW appearance. I left the BMW for another day. Although cleaned up, apparently the BMW was not ready for my inspection at 3PM 7/24 because I found fault within the paint that needed to be corrected and the scuff marks were not fixed. I left the BMW on 7/23 to get cleaned up properly and again it was not ready. The repair work should have been completed and done correctly for my inspection on 7/23, as you advertise. My requests, via e-mails, as to the updates were followed up by the need to clean up tree fallout on the BMW and the swirl marks were from hand cleaning and other radical excuses. The additional time required to complete the repair and cleaning should not have required a whole additional day. Then, on 7/24, because I did not like the pin marks within the paint it was requested I leave the BMW for yet another day. I refused. Paul, the manager, then did some buffing on the BMW to clean up the pin marks on 7/24 but I needed to return on 7/29 to have scratch marks removed from the trunk area and okayed the condition. Within that time period I had to wax the hood and top of the car to remove any swirl marks that had not been removed by the body shop. NO-- I have not been pleased with workmanship of ABRA.

I think your team did a spectacular job in repairs. Julietta was terrific to work with.She carefully explained everything that was going to happen to the car and the time frame for the process. She called me everyday just as she said she would and kept me updated on the status of my car very well. A special thank you to the people who did the final cleaning job. Absolutely the best!
